Scotia Gas Networks (SGN) Go Live with B-Smart™ RGMA MAM Solution

Scotia Gas Networks (SGN) went live today with Generis’s B-Smart™ RGMA solution for Meter Asset Managers.

Generis was contracted during Q4 of 2006 to supply their leading industry solution. In addition to standard B-Smart deployment considerations and as part of the overall requirement, the RGMA preconfigured B-Smart product had to be integrated with SGN’s Enterprise Asset Information System and existing financial systems necessitating more extensive client specific configuration than normal.

In entering this new highly competitive business sector, SGN needed to commit to industry timescales and deadlines that could not be missed. Subsequently and in order to deliver to SGN, Generis had to ensure that systems integration obligations, including solution deployment were delivered exactly on schedule.

As the project commenced, Generis and SGN quickly established a successful rapport and working relationship with all contributors focused on what needed to be achieved in what was an extremely agressive timescale.

Generis successfully delivered on all of its commitments on schedule to SGN by mid April '07. This in turn enabled SGN to undertake final business readiness activities prior to launching their new business as a commercial MAM.
