ScottishPower Go Live with B-Smart™ Annual Quantity Manager

ScottishPower successfully went live with the B-Smart™ Annual Quantity Manager (AQM) application during June 2007. The AQM solution will enable ScottishPower to manage their entire xoserve and iGT portfolio as part of the industry annual gas AQ review process.

This year’s amendment window has now closed with ScottishPower having already successfully processed all of their associated amendment files.

Gas Shippers with very large portfolios, including iGT’s, require the most robust and scalable software solutions in order to manage the industry process towards a successful conclusion. B-Smart™  AQM delivers this requirement and provides users with an essential mix of process control, rules based decision making and precise AQ/WC movement statistics in order to ensure that the most accurate AQ and WC values can be achieved.  In addition, via detailed exception reporting, B-Smart™ AQM allows user resources to focus upon asset and reading data quality issues that may otherwise compromise the effectiveness of the review which in turn will lead to year on year improvements and an efficient process.

Generis are continuing to enhance the B-Smart™ AQM application further and are working closely with ScottishPower to deliver the best possible benefits that can be achieved by the business.
