Generis release B-Smart™ – Version 1.0.0

On Friday 1st March, Generis Technology Limited announced the latest release of their B-Smart™ 'Work Flow Enabled' software.
The B-Smart™ product suite supports business processes covering Meter Asset Management, Contract Management, Job Tracking and Asset Tracking in the deregulated U.K. metering market.
B-Smart™ is uniquely developed and designed to support both Gas Supply and Meter Asset Management companies operating within the deregulated market.
Substantial enhancements have been made throughout the suite and in addition the following new and significant components have been added :

B-Smart™ Job Manager
B-Smart™ Job Manager maintains full detail and history activity for all job types. Information held includes Visit History, Customer Details, Job Contacts as well as integrated Contract and Pricing information.
Work Request and Work Update data flows are processed automatically to create and update job details held within the system.
In addition, jobs can also be maintained via on-line screens. These will automatically generate output flows to other Market Participants where required.
B-Smart™ Job Manager also facilitates the monitoring of work and performance against Service Level Agreements, enabling job charges to be raised and job analysis and reporting to be delivered.

B-Smart™ Contract Manager
Enables the modelling of any type of contract that may exist between Market Participants.
Contracts may be modelled in various ways, for instance by geographical area utilising postcodes or via hardware feature e.g. payment type mechanisms.
Contract data relating to Service Level Agreements and Pricing are also recorded.
On-line access is provided to allow maintenance of both Market Participant and Contract data.

B-Smart™ Asset Tracker
This new component maintains details of assets and their movements throughout their entire lifecycle. Data is maintained automatically as data flows relating to Meter Assets are processed. On line maintenance is also available.
The tracking software facilitates the automation of manual processes leading to the efficient management and maintenance of assets.
