Within the Landis+Gyr Group, Generis, headquartered in Manchester is responsible for the distribution, system integration and local adaptation of Group application software products in the UK and Ireland, as well as being one of four development centres for Landis+Gyr in EMEA.  Generis is also responsible for hosting several AMI related trials, including those conducted under the UK Government's Energy Demand Research Project (EDRP).

Across the Atlantic, Generis provides Support & Maintenance services to several energy retailers utilising the PaySmart and AMS smart metering solutions. Generis also works closely with Ecologic Analytics, one of America's leading MDMS providers also part of the Landis+Gyr Group.
